Mayaan Al Sraiya

D WANNAS X MAKHIDA 2026 BAY PUREBRED FILLY

A New Chapter, Made Possible Together

Some beginnings are made all the more meaningful by the people who help bring them to life.
At Al Jood Stud, we are delighted to introduce Mayaan, a beautiful young 2026 born filly by our own D Wannas, out of the much loved mare Makhida, whose bloodline has now found a new chapter within our breeding and show program.

Mayaan carries the imprint of two distinguished families. Her sire, D Wannas, by Fa El Rasheem out of D Sayedah (Marajj × Ladi Veronika), brings together a pedigree we are proud to have at the heart of our programme.
Through her dam, Makhida, she reaches back to Khidar (Ansata Sinan × Elizja) and Marenga (Menes × Marei), a lineage with its roots in Germany and one that has travelled through generations to arrive at this very moment.

Makhida, bred by Sax Arabians in Germany and now cherished by Al Sraiya Stud in Qatar, represents the kind of connection between breeders that makes our shared passion so rewarding. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Al Sraiya Stud for their generosity and collaboration in making this union possible. The opportunity to incorporate Makhida’s treasured bloodline into the next generation at Al Jood Stud is something we hold in genuine appreciation.

For now, Mayaan’s story is only beginning. There is no need to hurry what time has yet to reveal. We look forward to watching her grow, discovering the character and qualities she will make her own, and seeing how her presence will contribute to the future of Al Jood Stud.

Welcome to the beginning of your own story, Mayaan.

Bred by Al Jood Stud.
